Take your golf game to the next level with Bodies for Birdies, a series designed to improve your strength, mobility, and overall performance on the course! This unique program combines golf-specific strength training with active recovery to help you swing harder, move more fluidly, and prevent injury. Each week, you’ll focus on a different aspect of your body’s needs for golf. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just getting started, Bodies for Birdies will give you the tools to perform better on the course and feel great off of it.

Bodies For Birdies is now an ONGOING PROGRAM offered every week! You’ll pay once per month, and your spot auto-renews, so you stay enrolled and keep your routine consistent—no re-registering, no wondering if there will be space. Classes begin March 3rd at HealthSPORT McKinleyville – no membership required!

What is the Bodies For Birdies program all about?

This is a specialized ongoing fitness series designed to improve your strength, mobility, and overall performance on the course! Each week, you’ll focus on a different aspect of your body’s needs for golf: Building power in your swing, improving core stability, enhancing flexibility, and increasing range of motion. The strength portion will help you develop the explosive power and endurance needed for a solid game, while the active recovery portion will focus on increasing flexibility, strengthening stabilizing muscles, and improving balance. This program is suitable for all fitness levels and golf experience levels.

Why should I take this class?

Golf requires a combination of strength, flexibility, and mobility. Many golfers struggle with maintaining the physical fitness necessary to improve their game, especially as they age. Bodies for Birdies targets this need by combining strength training and mobility work to enhance performance and prevent injuries. This unique program combines golf-specific strength training with active recovery to help you swing harder, move more fluidly, and prevent injury.

Is this solo coaching or a group class?

This is a small group class. Each location is limited to only 12 participants each. 

Do you have to be a HealthSPORT member to take this class?

No, this class is open to everyone! A HealthSPORT membership is not required to take this class. Invite your friends & family!

How does registration/my subscription work?

Bodies For Birdies is now an ONGOING PROGRAM offered here every week! You’ll pay once per month, and your spot auto-renews, so you stay enrolled and keep your routine consistent—no re-registering, no wondering if there will be space.

With each subscription, you are purchasing the specific day, time, and location offered. Switching between clubs or class types is not permitted. 

Pricing: $129/month for members, $195/month for non-members

What is the cancellation policy?

Programs & Camps: All programs have a “Registration/Cancellation Deadline” 7 days prior to the start date. The buyer may cancel and receive a full credit any time before the deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the club cancels a program due to low enrollment, the buyer will receive a 100% refund.

Refund Policy: There are no refunds on services purchased unless otherwise authorized by this agreement.
